Overview
The song Crosseyed and Painless by Talking Heads is paranoid and frenetic odyssey. I feel like I’m part of a car chase whenever I hear it. With this project, I aimed to create a poster that captured that energy. This design is inspired by brutalism graphic design and relies heavily on typography. This was an exercise in font pairing and I also used this project as an opportunity to become more comfortable making adjustments to the attributes of typography, including kerning and tracking, to enhance the overall mood of the project.
